Professional fishing guide and owner Shane Goebel is a Murphy, NC local and has over 30 years experience fishing the area's lakes. Darren Hughes is the owner of Hughes General Store and Bait Shop in Blairsville, GA and has been professionally guiding on the lakes of North Georgia for over 30 years. Big Ol' Fish specializes in live bait and artificial fishing methods that have landed them some huge trophy fish, including Shane's personal best 44-pound striper and Darren's personal best 53-lb striper, both caught on Lake Nottely in Blairsville, GA. Both captains operate roomy 22-ft  and 25-ft  Carolina Skiff center console boats equipped with the best fishing rods, tackle and electronics.
